  • Kevin R. Jones

    PRESIDENT AND CEO

    Mr. Jones has worked in the environmental consulting, water resources, and remediation fields for more than 30 years. As the President and CEO of Cardinal Resources, he has taken his company in new directions by developing sustainable water treatment systems and promoting quality environmental services and consulting worldwide. Mr. Jones founded Cardinal Resources in 2004 as a double bottom line company with the goals to build a global company focused on the mission of Clean Water - Clean Environment - Worldwide. Starting in his previous company in the 1990s, Mr. Jones began to build global experience dealing with wastewater and groundwater remediation. His international work in these programs took him to China, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Turkey, Mali, Senegal, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, Canada, and Brazil.

  • Joyce M. O’Connor, P.G.

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Ms. O’Connor is a Principal and Geologist for Cardinal Resources. She has more than 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting field and has worked in over 25 states. Ms. O’Connor has managed projects under the CERCLA, RCRA, and various state voluntary action programs. These projects vary in size from small UST site assessments to complex industrial site investigation and remediation projects. Her areas of specialty include UST issues, storm water and NPDES programs, geophysical data gathering techniques, soil and groundwater remediation, and geologic/hydrogeologic data interpretation. She has extensive experience in assessing environmental liability for commercial and industrial properties on behalf of property owners and lending institutions, and has advised companies seeking release from environmental liabilities.

  • Barbara H. Jones

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Ms. Jones has worked her entire career in environmental and water quality remediation, design, and laboratory support. As a founding Principal for Cardinal Resources, she has a proven record of bringing together multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex environmental challenges. She has been a partner in the development of Red Bird systems, with focus on filtration and disinfection steps, and has worked on environmental problems around the world for industrial clients. As a technical advisory board member for the environmental Pure Earth, she has worked as a volunteer and consultant for environmental assessment and remediation in Africa, Central Asia, and Ukraine.
